I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I have been married to my husband, Steve since 1978. We have two children, a daughter and a son. Our son is currently serving our country in the U.S. Army as a sergeant. Both children were married in 2008 with our son giving us our first grandchild.
After successfully completing a course of Secretarial Skills at Western College of Business in Portland, I began my 22 year career in the banking industry. For 10 years I gained experience in mortgage banking through the consumer lending department while the rest of the time was spent in other customer service areas. In 1993, my husband's business transferred us to Cottage Grove, Oregon. During the 18 months there, I focused on being a "stay at home Mom" while also working part-time a a secretary/receptioninst.
In 1995, my husband's business transferred us to Klamath Falls, Oregon. My first experience in the Real Estate business was a part-time receptionist at a local Real Estate office. I soon realized that I needed to work full-time to keep up with the economy and found a full-time position as an insurance agent. I enjoyed the 10 years of helping folks with their property/casuality needs. This gave me the knowledge of homeowner's insurance requirements which helps with selling real estate.
I began selling real estate in 2006 under the wings of experienced agents at Coldwell Banker Holman Premier Realty. Since then I have found that my past careers have helped me to advise and support my clients during their buying and selling experience.
My interests include riding along side my husband in our 2001 Corvette Z06.
I am also a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association for which my husband and I ministered for 15 years. I am an active member of the local Linkville Kiwana's Club. where I have held leadership positions.
