In Oregon we do not have a sales tax. Our community is located 15 miles from the California border and 75 miles East of Medford, Oregon which gives you Costco and major shopping areas. We have four seasons, but pride ourselves with 300 days of sunshine. We are approximately 4200 feet above sea level which allows for mild temperatures in the summer months, cool fall weather and snow in the winter months. There are three high schools (Klamath Union, Mazama and Henley), two colleges (Oregon Institute of Technology and Klamath Community College) and a newly upgraded hospital. Our general population is approximately 60,000 in our community.
